To end the month Cahans Meeting House will host an afternoon tea Saturday 31st from 3pm when it is hoped there will be music by members of the local Ukrainian community.
Generous donations are requested as this will raise funds for the Christian charity, Embrace the Middle East which, as the Bible Lands Society and now Embrace, has for 170 years supported Christian development work in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria and Iraq. The funds raised on 31st are intended to commemorate this 170th anniversary at a time when the needs are very great (see website – embraceme.org).
