Our next fundraising event to he held at Cahans Meeting House will be “Changing Times” – A Floral Exhibition (including competitions).

We are delighted to have Rev William McMillan MBE ably assisted by Ms. Ann Traynor on board as artistic directors. Rev W. McMillan, has been awarded an MBE for his efforts in raising funds for charity through his involvement with flowers.

The inside of the church will be transformed with beautiful expressions of floral art including the competition entries.

We invite everyone to come along and view the masterpieces that will be created. Official opening and presentation of prizes will be at 7pm on Friday 26th May. Viewing will continue all day Saturday and Sunday. Donations greatly appreciated.

– Take the Cootehill Road (R188) out of Monaghan
– Stay on R188 for approx 5.5 miles (you will pass through Corcaghan village)
– At Stranooden crossroads turn left onto L2500
-Travel for 1.5 miles on L2500 and Cahans Meeting House will be on your left hand side

Directions from Ballybay:
-Take the Clones Road/Hall Street (R183) out of Ballybay
-Travel for approx 2.3 miles
-Turn right onto L2502 (signposted for Stranooden)
-Travel for approx 2.2 miles on L2502 and Cahans Meeting House will be on your right hand side
