Matthew McAuley 1829 – 1876
James Henry who was ordained in 1876 and moved to minister in Scotland in 1906;
John Thompson Montgomery, ordained in 1906 moved on in 1913;
James Steen (1913 – 1924) ministered during the difficult years of the Great War when Cahans lost 5 young men killed in action, and when others, men and women served, some suffering severe injuries;
Samuel Fleming Stuart stayed only 19 months in 1925/6;
William Armour, minister of First Monaghan, served as minister from 1928 to 1945.
After this time Cahans, First Ballybay and Derryvalley were united under the ministries of

- John Mann (1961 – 1965)
