Cahans Meeting House will host a ‘cuppa, company and chat’ morning on Friday 1 May from 10.30. It will simply be an opportunity for anyone interested to come, relax and enjoy time together – come and bring a friend (or friends!). If you play a portable musical instrument please bring it – there may be an opportunity to play and/or sing. There will be no programme, just a time of togetherness, although a spokesperson from Monaghan Library service will be present to tell about services available apart from book lending. Some people still refer to Cahans Meeting House as a ‘church’. It hasn’t been in use as a church for more than 50 years. Now renovated it is used as a ‘meeting House’, a place where everyone is welcome to a range of events and activities. If there is something you would like to see happening, please let us know.
