FLOURISH (Framing the Legacy of our Irish and Scottish Heritage) is a project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes body (SEUPB). It is being funded through the Building Positive Relations Investment Area of PEACEPLUS.
FLOURISH will work with communities, local authorities and young people in Northern Ireland the border counties of Ireland and in Scotland to explore the potential societal benefits of our shared Irish and Scottish heritage. We will focus on Irish, Ulster Scots, Scottish Gaelic and Scots language and culture in particular.
A key aim of the FLOURISH project is to build positive community relations around Irish language and Ulster Scots language and culture. This will be achieved though a broad programme of community engagement, including workshops and knowledge exchange events to examine the current situation and explore possibilities for moving forward
